A brand new mobile phone application was recently launched onto the marketplace in an effort to improve the shopping experience for both merchants and clients.
An app designed by San Francisco-based Signature recently became available for iPhone users to download. The tool will give those using it the chance to learn about deals going on that they might not know about and stores the chance to highlight new items.
According to those within the firm, giving people the chance to be better informed will work out best for all involved in the transactions.
"As CEO David Hegarty explains to me, the value add for both retailers and consumers is clear. Signature provides a more personal, and mobile shopping experience for consumers, and offers a way for retailers to improve in-store engagement and conversion, which is going to help differentiate the experience from online purchasing," TechCrunch reports.
Other iPhone apps have sought to make the shopping experience better for consumers. U.S. Bank recently unveiled an REI Visa app which will allows people to pay for outdoor items at the store with their phones at a mobile credit card terminal.
