An online reservation firm recently made headlines after it came to an agreement with MasterCard to give cardholders new benefits.
In a statement, Livebookings said that it had reached an agreement with the merchant services provider through its Priceless London program and Bookatable.com. Those who sign up for the new system will get the chance to scoop up good deals before the general public has a chance to get access to them.
The leadership of MasterCard said the deal would be useful for customers.
"London is synonymous with both fine dining and gastronomic innovation and its restaurants remain a key attraction for Londoners and visitors from elsewhere in the UK and abroad. To enhance the experience even more for MasterCard cardholders, we needed a partner with unparalleled restaurant relationships to help us formulate unique and exclusive deals for Priceless London," the company said.
The second largest credit card firm in the world has been making other news recently by coming to agreements with technology companies. In December, MasterCard came to terms with Microsoft to give cardholders discounts when purchasing the Office 365 program.
